A wealthy couple were staying in the Presidential Suite of The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. As there stay was extended for two days the guest called the hotels concierge with an extraordinary request. The guest wanted the hotel to arrange for the collection of his wifes
handbag from their residence in London, the handbag contained some items that his wife needed to make the stay more comfortable.
We got a call from New Delhi at 5pm with the booking, the Pony Express OBC Team moved quickly to depatch the nearest courier to collect the handbag from Central London. Once the handbag was collected the courier made his way to Heathrow Airport (LHR), Terminal 3 where he would
meet the onboard courier already checked in and ready to board the 22:00 Virgin Atlantic flight to Delhi.
Delivery of the handbag was made the following morning, less than 15 hours from the time of booking to the Presidential Suite in the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi. The hotel staff and the guest were extremely pleased with how smooth the whole process was.
